Sphinx moth (Order: Lepidoptera; Family: Sphingidae). Image taken at Wayqecha Cloud Forest Research Center. The research center is at 2950 meters elevation and is managed by the Amazon Conservation Association (ACA) and the Asociación para la Conservación de la Cuenca Amazónica (ACCA). Wayqecha is part of the Manu - Tambopata Corridor and is also part of ACA/ACCA's strategy to protect Amazon headwaters where the Andes meet the Amazon.
